The holiday season is officially upon us. It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement and hustle and bustle of it all. Parties fill up our calendars and we spend hours at the mall, and online, looking for the perfect gifts. December is also the time of year when those less fortunate feel the hardship of not having enough even more. The gift of giving is a wonderful lesson to share with family. Excel has always felt strongly about giving back to our community, and we encourage others – who are able – to do the same. This November we’re shining the spotlight on Jen Clark, who first joined Excel as a Sales Associate eight years ago. Within two and half years, Jen was quickly promoted to an Area Manager. Although she excelled in the field, given her interests, experience and strengths, Jen was excited to take on her current position of Sales Coach when the opportunity presented itself.

December is the season of giving. Throughout the month we’ll buy hostess gifts for holiday parties and thank-you gifts for our mail carrier, garbage collector, hair dresser and children’s teachers. And this of course is in addition to the presents we buy for under our tree – and in our stockings. Needless to say, January credit card bills are never a joy.
