Customer Care Warranty Specialist

The Role

The Customer Care Warranty Specialist ensures new home warranty issues are addressed, and contributes to maintaining Excel Homes’ reputation for superior customer service through timely and effective home warranty service.

The Responsibilities

  • Responsible for contributing to Excel Homes’ customer experience by conducting scheduled warranty appointments
  • Provide guidance and information directly to customers regarding the operation, maintenance and care of their home
  • Provide post-possession services to access warantability, including dispatching Trades for repairs
  • Facilitate work with Trade Partners by providing approval of work completed
  • Ensure completions of repairs meet Excel’s standards of workmanship
  • Contribute to Excel Homes’ customer experience by receiving phone calls and emails from customers of a varied nature and aid in making strategic "If it is wrong - make it right" decisions
  • Utilizing effective oral and written communication

Responsible for managing and negotiating contracts with trades and suppliers for their single family and multi-family products.
