What is your official title?

My official title is Area Sales Manager.

When did you start with Excel?

My journey in new home sales began in 2013, starting out as a show home Sales Assistant with a heart full of curiosity and a drive to learn. Over the years, through dedication, resilience, and a genuine love for people, I’ve grown into the role of Area Sales Manager, a role I’ve proudly held for over a decade now. I joined Excel Homes in March 2025, and from the moment I stepped in, it felt like home, a place where my passion for helping families find theirs is deeply valued.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

It’s witnessing that moment when a family receives the keys to their new home, the joy, the hope, the tears of happiness. It’s not just about selling homes; it’s about being part of someone’s most meaningful chapter. I get to help people plant roots, build dreams, and begin again, and that’s something I’ll never take for granted.

What do you do in your free time?

In my free time, I trade floor plans for frying pans, a nod to my earlier career before real estate. Cooking is still one of my greatest joys, especially when it means bringing a smile to my kids’ faces. I still love to cook for my family and friends. My wife Joan and my children, Gwen and Gabe, along with our energetic beagle Hazel, are my world. We love spontaneous road trips, exploring new places, and just being together, making memories that remind me what life’s truly about.

What’s one fun fact about you or something that makes you unique?

Before diving into the world of real estate, I worked as a professional chef. That experience taught me discipline, creativity, and the importance of presentation and detail, all of which now flow into how I approach my work in home sales. Whether it’s a perfectly plated dish or a perfectly matched family with their new home, the joy is the same.
