Experience & Responsibilities

Shelley was first hired as Excel Homes’ receptionist in February 2012. She joined the company with more than seven years of customer service experience. As our production assistant, Shelley supports a team of 17 people. Her role includes applying for, and monitoring, architectural control approvals and building permits. Shelley also assists Excel’s Warranty department to ensure our homeowners are delighted on move-in day and beyond.

Shelley enjoys the diversity of her job, which involves working with multiple departments and being part of the entire home building process – from permitting through post-possession customer care. She finds it particularly exciting to be a part of the many possession day activities, and seeing our new owners enjoy the homes that so many people worked together to create. Happy homeowners, and exceeding personal and company goals, is how Shelley measures her success.

Shelley’s favourite part about Excel is all of the hard working, supportive and fun people she works with. On her days off you’ll find Shelley spending time with family, camping or on a road trip to attend a concert or music festival.
