Employee Spotlight: Scott Robinson, Director, IT and Business Systems

Warm greetings to our awesome Director of IT and Business Systems, Scott - he is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys travelling and playing with new tech! We talked to Scott to learn more about his hobbies when he's not solving problems with technology. Check it out!

What is your official title?

Director, IT and Business Systems

When did you start with Excel?

I started October 2021.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Being involved in every aspect of Excel's business and getting to solve interesting and unique business problems with technology! Every day presents new challenges and new puzzles, which I like to decipher and find solutions to.

What do you do in your free time?

I have lots of hobbies that I like to fill my free time with, like running, hiking, skiing, riding my motorcycle, travelling, seeing the world, and playing with cool new tech!

What’s one fun fact about you or something that makes you unique?

One thing that's always been on my bucket list is visiting or summiting all of tallest peaks in the world. In May of this year, I'll be travelling to Nepal to trek to the base camp of Mount Everest, which is 17,598 above sea level! In 2025, I'm planning a summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa.
