Employee Spotlight: Noah Hopper - Site Assistant

Meet Noah, one of our dedicated Site Assistants! Noah plays an essential role in keeping our job sites running smoothly. With a true passion for homebuilding and a hands on approach to every task, he’s always ready to jump in, whether it’s supporting daily site operations, coordinating trades, or upholding safety standards.

Noah’s journey with Excel Homes began as a Labourer in South Calgary. In less than a year, his hard work and drive earned him a well-deserved promotion to Site Assistant. His interest in construction was sparked by a friend’s experience, and since joining the industry, he’s never looked back.

What is your official title?

My official title is Site Assistant.

When did you start with Excel?

I started with Excel Homes on March 11th, 2024.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

The best part of the job is seeing the house completed and ready for the new homeowners. It’s awesome to see how happy and excited they are to move in, knowing that we had a hand in making it all come together.

What do you do in your free time?

In my free time, I love hanging out with friends and family, watching sports, hitting the golf course, or swimming in a lake or river. I’m also into the occasional movie night or gaming session with friends.

What’s one fun fact about you or something that makes you unique?

I like to collect sports hats and jerseys, specifically the Edmonton Oilers and Seattle Seahawks.
