Experience and Responsibilities

Working alongside the internal sales team, Jen is responsible for training all new Sales Associates and Area Managers, as well as providing ongoing coaching to the entire team. Her new hire curriculum includes Excel’s values, mission, vision, policies and processes. In addition to providing group and individual coaching sessions, Jen also assists with creating new sales processes and procedures.

Jen measures her success by the success of the sales team. She also monitors the progress and knowledge base of Excel’s new hires throughout their first year in the field – and beyond. Ultimately, she evaluates her accomplishments by the improvements and achievements she sees in the field. Building relationships and trust, helping people to realize their career potential and playing a supportive role in the company, are what Jen loves most about her job.

Jen credits the people she works with for making Excel such a great company. She values the dedication that her colleagues demonstrate, and that Excel is committed to innovation and continuously looks to improve both internal processes and the customer experience. When she’s not working, you can find Jen at home with her amazing husband and son. She also loves to cook, and is always on the lookout for Calgary’s top new restaurants.
