At Excel Homes, our people are what turn houses into homes, and few understand that better than Jeff Van De Cappelle, Area Manager for both Princeton and Homestead.
For Jeff, homebuilding isn’t just about constructing houses; it’s about helping people reach the milestones that truly matter.
“One of the most rewarding parts of my job is helping people achieve homeownership,” says Jeff.
Early in his career at Excel Homes, Jeff worked with a family purchasing their very first home. Seeing their excitement, joy, and pride in that moment was incredibly inspiring—and it became a defining experience that shaped Jeff’s career. That sense of purpose continues to guide his day-to-day work, as he supports families and communities with a genuine passion for helping people find a place to call home.
Outside of work, you’ll most often find Jeff soaking up the great outdoors. Whether it’s fishing, hiking, camping, or golfing, he’s always up for fresh air and good company.
“If it involves being outside in the sunshine and nature, count me in” Jeff shares.
A fun fact many may not know about Jeff is that earlier in life, he spent time travelling, living in different countries, and doing humanitarian work. Those experiences shaped his perspective and gave him a deep appreciation for different cultures—something that continues to influence how he approaches both his work and life.
