Employee Spotlight: Heather Stirling, Production Manager, Edmonton

At Excel Homes, every home we build is the result of countless people working together behind the scenes to turn dreams into reality. This month, we're shining the spotlight on Heather Stirling, Production Manager, Edmonton.

Heather plays an important role in helping projects move from concept to completion, working alongside teams across the organization to solve problems, support colleagues, and ensure homes come together as planned. While every day brings something different, it's the people and continuous opportunities to learn that make the work especially rewarding.

"While it's hard to pick just one thing," Heather says, "the most rewarding parts of my job are helping to solve problems, supporting the people around me however I can, and continuously learning new things. I value the opportunity to connect with so many talented people across the home building industry."

For Heather, there's nothing quite like seeing the finished result of a project she's helped bring to life.

"Most of all, it's incredibly rewarding to see our clients' dream homes come together from concept to completion and know I've played a part in making that happen."

Outside of work, Heather enjoys staying active through running, strength training, and spending time outdoors. When she's not on the move, you'll likely find her at a concert, reading a good book, or listening to a favourite podcast. Most importantly, she treasures time spent with family, friends, and her three cats.

One thing many people know Heather for is her remarkable dedication to running. She has maintained an impressive daily running streak, heading out for a run every single day for more than eight and a half years.

"It's a great way to start the day and has become a key part of my morning routine."

Whether she's supporting her team, tackling challenges, or lacing up her running shoes before sunrise, Heather brings commitment, consistency, and a willingness to help others to everything she does. We're grateful to have her as part of the Excel Homes team.
