Employee Spotlight: Heather Bailey - Warranty Specialist

Meet Heather! She is an avid hiker, a volleyball player and also our remarkable Warranty Specialist who is genuinely dedicated to ensuring every homeowner's satisfaction. Heather is the bridge between our homeowners and the assurance of quality craftsmanship. Read on to learn more about what Heather's hobbies are when she's not at the forefront of guiding and educating our homeowners.

What is your official title?

My official title is Warranty Specialist.

When did you start with Excel?

I started with Excel in June 2019.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part about my job is working with homeowners. I am a people person and love meeting and chatting with new people. I get the opportunity to meet homeowners on one of their happiest days - possession day, as well as post possession to help educate and guide them on how to care for their new Excel home.

What do you do in your free time?

Health and fitness is a large part of my life and I live a very active lifestyle. During my free time I play volleyball weekly, I am an avid hiker and I love to play in the mountains. I get a thrill from going on adventures and trying new things that I have never experienced before.

What’s one fun fact about you or something that makes you unique?

I am a born and bred Newfoundlander who moved across the country at age 18 to start a career in healthcare, I settled in Edmonton. I had intended to stay in Alberta for 2 years, but never ended up going back home and have been in the construction industry ever since. Alberta has become my home and I love it here! And yes, I am an Oilers fan lol!
