Employee Spotlight: Diana McBride - Site Assistant

At Excel Homes, we love celebrating the amazing people who make our team so special. This month, we’re shining the spotlight on Diana McBride, one of our talented Site Assistants, based in Calgary. Diana plays a key role in connecting our customers with their dream homes and ensuring their experience is nothing short of exceptional. Let’s get to know her a little better!

What is the most rewarding part of your job?
So far, the most rewarding part of my job is seeing how happy the customers are with their new homes once we give them their keys. That moment of excitement and joy makes all the hard work worthwhile.

What do you do in your free time?
During the winter months, I mostly stay indoors working on household projects, baking, doing a puzzle or two, and watching or going to movies. When the weather warms up, I love to play slo-pitch, go for walks, hiking, and driving around for garage sales and outdoor markets. I try to soak up as much sun as possible while spending quality time with family and friends.

What’s one fun fact about you or something that makes you unique?
Even on my worst days, I wouldn’t hesitate to give the shirt off my back to someone in need. But don’t get me wrong—I’m also that friend who will hysterically laugh if you trip and fall in front of me (as long as you’re okay, of course!)
