Christmas for Calgary

Excel Homes is a proud sponsor of Christmas for Calgary, presented by the Calgary Firefighter Toy Association & 90.3 AMP radio. No matter socio-economic background, every child should have something to open at Christmas.

The Calgary Firefighters Toy Association was first launched in the 1940s when firefighters cleaned and repaired used toys to donate to underprivileged kids. While the toy repair program is no longer active, for more than 55 years Calgary firefighters have volunteered their time to keep the Christmas spirit alive for children through the annual Christmas Party for families who are less fortunate.Throughout the year, active and retired Calgary firefighters raise funds to help ensure an annual volunteer-run Christmas party continues for more than 2,000 families who will receive a magical day this December including lunch, live entertainment, and of course a visit & gift from Santa! To help ensure this event can continue for years and years to come, we are asking for your support in the way of new unwrapped toys or cash donation.

From now until December 21st, we encourage you to drop off new unwrapped toys or cash donation at any one of our 10 show home locations across Calgary & Airdrie to help support families in need this holiday season.The last day for donations in person at Excel show homes will be Thursday December 21st – as the bins will be picked upon Friday December 22nd.
