Employee Spotlight: Brianne Mock, Human Resource Administrator

Excel Homes is so excited to introduce you to our outstanding HR Administrator, Brianne Mock! Not only is she a hardworking and passionate individual, but Brianne can always be found with a smile on her face in our Calgary Head Office.

We touched base with Brianne to learn a little bit more about her experience at Excel Homes and her life outside of work.

1. How did you get into the home building industry?

I had recently relocated to Calgary and was working with a recruitment firm to find a great new job. I found Excel to be a welcoming and interesting place to work and was given the opportunity after 2 weeks to become a full-time employee.

2. When did you start with Excel?

I started here in February of 2019.

3. What is the most rewarding part of your job?

To me, the most rewarding part of my job is helping each department to find talented employees and helping current employees with anything I can. In the short time I have been here, I have found it very rewarding to connect with so many different people.

4. What do you do in your free time?

I like to work out, watch Netflix, spend time with my dog, go shopping, and cook. I also spend time playing a variety of online and retro video games.

5. What’s one fun fact about you or something that makes you unique?

At one point I was an aspiring makeup artist, and I am an older sibling to two identical twins.
