Summer Fun at Mahogany Lake
With warmer weather well on its way, it’s time to start planning those weekend getaways. Trips to the lake, barbeques on the beach, freshwater fishing and exploring the great outdoors are hallmarks of summer in Alberta. Now imagine a whole season of fun in the sun without having to pack up the car and fight weekend traffic out of the city. This blissful fantasy is actually reality for homeowners at Calgary’s Community Of The Year (212, 213 & 214!)
There are a host of recreational amenities to discover at Mahogany and we’re thrilled to be opening two new show homes just in time for summer. We are looking forward to showing you some of our favourite ways to soak up the sun in south Calgary’s premier lakeside community:
• Life’s A Beach. Two private sand beaches overlooking Calgary’s largest freshwater lake are ideal for long summer days.
• Beach Party. Pack a picnic or grill some steaks and sweet Alberta corn on the beach barbeque pits.
• Lakefront Community Hub. Connect with neighbors, work up a sweat or learn something new at the 22, sq. ft. residents’ only Beach Club, featuring gym, skate room and educational and recreational programming.
• Splashing Around. In the heat of summer your kids will love cooling off at the beachfront splash park.
• Game On. Grab some friends and hit the beach volleyball courts – or just drop by for a pickup game.
• Gone Fishing. While away the day on the fishing pier, or enjoy a relaxing paddle across the lake.
• Scenic Ride. Hop on the bike and explore Mahogany’s 22 kilometres of paved pathways and 265 acres of parks, naturalized wetlands and open space.
